As we approach the long Merdeka weekend, let us reminisce all things wonderful about Malaysia and celebrate Merdeka day with these fun things that are truly Malaysian.
1. MERDEKA PARADE
Head to Dataran Merdeka on 31st August and watch the Merdeka Parade. There will be many exciting performances and the much-awaited marchpast!
2. MERDEKA MOVIES
In conjunction with Merdeka, many TV Stations will be playing old movies and new movies about Independence Day, Malaya and must-watch include the famous P. Ramlee movies.
3. HISTORICAL PLACES
There are plenty of historical places in Malaysia that are rich in history. Some of them are the National Museum, National Monument and Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad. Pay them a visit and learn more about our beautiful country.
4. MERDEKA SPREAD
Have a pot luck or Merdeka Day spread, and call all your friends over! It will be a delicious mix of Malay, Chinese and Indian delicacies, and what better way to bond, than having a meal together!
