Mr. Eddy Chieng Ing Huong
Our Chairman, Mr. Chieng graduated from the University of New South Wales, Australia in 1980 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Merit in Accounting, Finance and Information Systems. He qualified in Sydney, Australia as a Chartered Accountant in 1981 and became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants there. He is also a Chartered Accountant registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants since 1983.

In 1999, Mr. Chieng was appointed Director of SDB. He is also the Chairman of the Board, Investment, Nomination and Remuneration Committees as well as a member of the Audit Committee.

Ms. Teh Lip Kim
Appointed to the Board as Executive Director in 1996 and then promoted to the position of Managing Director in 1998, Ms. Teh is also the Managing Director of the property development arm, SDB Properties Sdn Bhd.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Accounting and Economics from Southampton University, United Kingdom, this multi-talented lady also completed a Masters in Shipping, Trade and Finance from the City University Business School, prior to her return to Malaysia.

Today, she is also a member of the Investment and Nomination Committee of SDB and holds directorship in other subsidiary companies of Selangor Dredging Berhad.

Dato’ Mohd Ismail Bin Che Rus
Dato’ Mohd Ismail started his career as an Inspector with the Royal Malaysia Police in 1962. He was then promoted numerous positions before being appointed as Chief Police Officer for three states in Malaysia and the Metropolitan Police of Kuala Lumpur. He was also held the rank of Commissioner of Police with the appointment of Director of Criminal Investigation Department prior to his retirement.

Today, Dato’ Mohd Ismail hold the posts of Senior Independent Non-Executive Director, Chairman of the Audit Committee and is a member of the Nomination and Remuneration Committees.

Dato’ Mohd Ismail studied Training Management at the Royal Institute of Public Administration, London, United Kingdom and was a Post Graduate Senior Management at the University of Manchester, United Kingdom.

Ms. Teh Lip Pink
Graduating with a Higher National Diploma in Business Studies from United Kingdom, Ms. Teh now holds the post of Director of the Company. Appointed in 1994, Ms. Teh is also a member of the Nomination Committee as well as a major shareholder of Selangor Dredging Berhad. She also holds Directorships in other subsidiary companies of Selangor Dredging Berhad and other private companies.
